My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon for 7 nights. The staff was very nice and even made sure they didn't overcharge us when we needed to make a change in our booking. You get the basics in this guesthouse and the beds are very comfy as is the bedding. Breakfast is like any other European guesthouse breakfast. The location is a little further from the center of town, but that shouldn't deter you. The walk is beautiful and you're here to see Reykjavik so why not tak Cheyenne, from USA ~ 24th Jun 2009

Clean, good value for money, decent/adequate breakfast, friendly & helpful staff (even at 5am after our delayed flight), good atmosphere, we had fun with the other guests - Dutch football (mixed) fans... For what it was I can't fault anything! toby, from England ~ 8th Jun 2009

The hostel wasn't even open when we got there, so we had to pay for another hotel, and the only way they tried to get a hold of us was with an email they day we were supposed to check in to tell them we had to let them know we were arriving.
