  • The hostel building is very beautiful from outside. It could have been located closer to the city center, but the location was perfect for my needs and subway is close enough. Stuff was nice and helpful. All the other guests were also friendly and talkative. I felt totally safe all the time. The only problem was that the kitchen was a little bit dirty sometimes. Private rooms are a bit expensive and the reception open times on hostels.com don't match with the real open times. I recommend.

  • Beds could be a little bit more comfortable. I enjoyed my stay nevertheless. Thanks to the friendly staff!

  • They arranged everything for me to arrive after hours, and they had wifi in the rooms, not just the common areas! Also not difficult to use the tramway from the main train station to get there, I think it took me 15-20 minutes after I bought my tram ticket to arrive in front of the hostel.

  • Room for 3 was quite good and clean. But the douche room was kind of dirty, and the drain was clogged. And it was one toallete and one douche room per floor, and which floor has about 15-20 people. And internet was down for the whole sunday!

  • Very quiet place. Quite expensive though. A breakfast included would have been great.

  • The closing / opening doors with magnetic card only generate so much noise, people leaving to slam the door behind them, especially late at night. False walls would let you hear any discussion of the neighbors, toilet and shower were down the hall and were forced to sit on the prowl to get a space. Very small space only allowed you to move. Sheets were not in the room (so huge), but are paid separately. Altogether, a very high price for great discomfort!

  • Very small double room under the roof. Unfortunately two beds instead of one big.

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
