The Hostel itself is very nice. But unfortunately, the room we rented was overbooked and the staff did not deal with that situation very professionally or friendly. The comments we got were: "Well, that happens about once a month and this time you were the unlucky ones" and when we said we were not really comfortable sleeping in a dorm instead of a double room "oh, you really do not seem very flexible, don't you think you're a bit sensitive?". ...I hate stairs haha, but this hostel is ok, not really to much to do but got all the stuff you need. Near a ok line of the subway so easy to get round. But if you want a warm shower, youll have to get in early, everytime I was up it was cold as! But yeah not bad.. Luke, from New Zealand ~ 26th Sep 2009

No elevator in a building that has 4 floors. Door to my dorm was never locked. Locker in dorm required 1 euro payment at reception. Mattresses were simple foam, which seemed a bit dirty. Hot water in shower was only lukewarm. Juan, from USA ~ 26th Sep 2009

Overall was clean. Getting there was not too hard, the directions were easy to follow. The guy who we spoke to was not too bright. gave us a room fully booked then put us on the 4th floor and the elevator was out of order. Steven, from Australia ~ 20th Sep 2009

very nice location in nice part of berlin, close to metro, bars, restaurants but still quiet enought to sleep at night, rather clean, staff very unfriendly and lazy (internet, toilet paper,...). Nicole, from Switzerland ~ 11th Sep 2009
