when we were there, one of the toilet in 1st floor was broken. We already informed the staff in the 1st day we stayed but it still not fixed yet until we left the hostels. ayu, from Singapore ~ 20th Jan 2012

Service attitude not good first day of 3:00 pm want Check-, the room not yet to prepare, I must live first to 3 building second day of replacement room, after has not helped I transport baggage third day of check-out, immediately wants me to leave, and monitors my behavior in the entrance Yan-Shiu, from Taiwan ~ 9th Jan 2012

This was a great hostel in China town, perfect location right near the MRT. The ONLY complaint I have is the noise levels throughout the night. There seemed to be some large groups travelling full of very young people that were running around screaming at all hours of the night. We stayed there for 3 nights, and every night was the same thing. Staff did not control this. Otherwise great hostel and helpful staff, very clean and safe rooms.

We have conducted an investigation internally and realized that the noise were created by a group of young people who traveled to Singapore in a big group for a cheerleading competition. They were thrilled by the competition and had a celebration at our hostel. Our staff have actually approached them to be more considerate but they were rather high and not able to be restrained. On hindsight, we should have stronger measures to enforce of noise curfew after 11pm. We will learn from your feedback. Thank you very much.

Everything is good, right next to MRT but rooms are comparatively small!

Thank you very much for your feedback. Due to our prime location; just next to the MRT station, in the middle of the cultural and heritage centre of Chinatown and occupying a conserved, traditional shophouse, our property commands a premium value that matched that of the Tsim Shai Tsui in Hong Kong or Shibuya in Tokyo. Despite that, we constantly try our best to provide sufficient space allocation for our guests and maintained a few good common spaces for guests to relax and interact. While we do not boost about how spacious we are, we are proud of our professional service, well maintained and sensitive environment and our prime location which is near most attractions in Singapore. Once again, thank you for staying with us and we look forward to hosting you again in the future.
