I stay here when I'm in town. It is what it is. The staff is nice. You can drink. There is a kitchen. The area is safe. The check in time is a little late (3:00pm). It's really homey and staff know your name/same people there a lot. Otherwise, the frustrations (keys not working, someone occupying your bed just about every time I've every been there) are tolderable because the staff is young and cool.

I've read a few bad reviews on here, but i dont know what people are talking about! I wanted a bed and a roof over my head and that's exactly what i got! The hostel was not dirty (as people are saying), the rooms were an alright size, the toilets were very small - but fully functional, and i thought the showers were fine! Free Wifi as well, which was good and the location was great only 1 block from the subway, then 15min to get to times square! I'd stay here again for the price and location

They charges you U$5,00 for a looker. The rooms are crowed. They don't have forks or glasses in the kitchen. The staff are always on bad humor,

Cheap, and for the most part functional. Showers need a bit water pressure, and it didn't have cups (not even plastic ones) at times. But the beds and showers were clean.

great place! I had a private ensuite and was very impressed with the comfort and cleanliness. Only downside was no elevator and dragging luggage up to the 5th floor. Should have packed lighter!
