More like a hotel than a hostel.Very beautiful and helpful staff.The vegetarian sandwich wasn't great but the other food was quite good.They even paid for a taxi from the nearby station as they couldn't pick us up (though the taxi driver didn't know the place, we had to phone them for directions)Nice and warm in Dec! I really enjoyed my stay at 7 Sages. I was met by Poppy at the train station who walked me to the hostel which was ever so nice.I decided to treat myself a bit and had a private room which was so clean and comfortable.I met some people who were staying in the dorms and they had nothing but nice things to say about the rooms and how clean the shared bathrooms were which is always good. The staff was so nice and really friendly.The bus system is easy to use in Xi'an and the hostel isn't too far fr Meredith, from USA ~ 1st Sep 2011

Very little ventilation in bathroom causing a moldy smell which permeated into the bedroom.Restaurant good, and service good.Booked the Terra Cotta warrors here and had no problems with the guide's accent.Very easily understood. Gary, from USA ~ 16th Aug 2011

Great hostel overall. Very nice/clean double room with a great shower and TV. Decent restaurant with hostel prices, grab a 600ml Hans on the corner for half the price of a 330 here. But that's normal. Only complaint was the Internet. Wifi was terrible and only in the bar area where you felt obliged to make a purchase. Also, their pay desktops were SUPER slow too.
