There was a problem with my card and Arthur said I could just pay with a money order which I attempted to do and instead he just stole all of my things including social security card debit card and birth certificat. I am going to work with an attorney and the authorities to get these things returned Brad, from Denmark ~ 23rd Aug 2009

Helpful staff (via phone), plenty of bathrooms. Try the authentic taco stands a block away, or Este Pizza for dinner and a beer. Utah lodging tax is very high and will be added to your bill.

Nice place to stay if you want to be in downtown SLC. The local train is nearby, as well as shopping and the library. Nothing much to do around the hostel, but if you are looking for a place to crash while skiing in SLC, this will do. The resorts are a quick ride away, maybe 25 minutes. jeremy, from USA ~ 26th Apr 2009

It actually ended up being too noisy, the common room is so close to the sleeping rooms, and our room was right next to the bathroom and a fridge.

Nice clean and secure hostel, with a good system for checking in/out etc. at any hour. Additional taxes of about 16% beyond the hostels.com quote weren't a pleasant surprise though.
