First night at the A&O Hostel in Munich was a Thursday night. Despite the signs that said you must be quiet after 10 pm, there was a very loud dance party going on for a few hours afterward. Not participating in the party, we didn't care for the noise from it.
Location is convenient - just 3/4 mile from the Hauptbahnhof (Main train station). There are a couple S-bahn stations that will take you a little closer, or a street car/tram that will get you even closer.
The A&O Hostel was "just a place to stay" - I would probably look elsewhere when traveling to Munich again.

the hostel is clean and price is reasonable, but we were astonished to know breakfast was not included in the booking price, which it originally said breakfast was included.

very clean place, looks like recently renovated. nothing special, but is in a good condition, plus not far away from main train station. good to stay overnight. for longer stays looks a bit too boring

it was okay but not so good it costs much more than other hostels regarding that wombat's hostel gives visitors free breakfast -and costs only 20euro for one day. if there's a set price it will be better 'cause the other hostels give visitors breakfast and bedsheets for free-included in total cost 20-25 euro. anyway the room was clean enough.

We were waiting one hour to get the room because a computer problem. After one hour waiting at the hall (at midnight) the girl told us that with reservation we didnt have to wait in a very bad way. We just cancel it and slept in the car. She was really stupid, but maybe was only her problem. It was not the hostel's fault.

The bathroom constantly flooded because the shower squirted out instead of straight. There wasn't enough staff to handle all of the needs, either.

The beds are to noisy ! Every times you move during your sleeping, the bed says "Heeeeee" ... It's unbearable !!!!

just one person on the reception, a girl with long black hair, could have been a bit kinder, especialy if there are visiting people who don´t speak german.
