location blows...bar is pretty sweet and u get a free drink on your first night. the staff is really helpful and friendly. very clean. def. would recommend for the price...its a steal however the location can be a pain at least during the week days.

We had a very nice stay there.nice staff...a bit far away from center, but good to see the real life of prag...-not only tourist things-...good place to escape the crowd...in our room was no bedside lamp :( -very good metro- and tram connection...in 10min you'r in centre of town---and all night you come back with night tram or bus. The backefast is inclusive-for the price it's o.k.-very good not to think in the morning but eat and get prepared for sight seeing---enjoy prag

Had a great time at this hostel. Close to all public transport, easy to get into town as well as major train lines and airport. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

Excellent breakfast, the best of any European hostel that we've been to! Beautiful downstairs breakfast/bar area. The first morning, the spiral staircase was lit with candles as we went down for breakfast. The only complaint: our room was directly over the bar, people were yelling and screaming until 3/4/5am - and that was during the week! Didn't get much sleep. Other than that, great place to stay.

This place is really new and clean, the bar downstairs is fun and so are the bartenders. As for the rest of the staff...not so great. It is semi-close to a metro stop, but not anywhere near the middle of town. I would go back because of the cleanliness and the people I met there.

I've stayed in a couple of A&O hostels now and while they are clean and secure, they tend to miss the point a little in terms of Atmosphere. They are way too sterile. They need a kitchen and a communal chill out area where you can hang out without feeling the pressure to buy a drink from the bar. Just a very average experience.

Highly recommended hostel! It is absolutely new (2005), very clean, great staff, and the best two things are (1) the excellent breakfast buffet (comparable only to a hotel) and (2) the cozy underground bar where you can have a beer in the evening. Location is also good, there are several tram lines that bring you to the center within 10 minutes.
