I wont be returning after my camera was stolen from inside a locked room. I soon discovered that in the last month a laptop and US$1350 had also been stolen. The girl that works there (Todega) whos crap attitude and lack of customer service compelled me to comment on my experiences, told me 'the day I was born, my destiny was written that my camera would be stolen from that hostel on that day'. What sort of answer is this? And dont bother reporting it to the owner - 'WE CANT BE HELD RESPONSIBL

Hi Damien I am sorry that I kept missing you at Sunflower, I seemed to be there when you were at the cricket. I am not sure what you were wanting us to do (except perhaps give you free accommodation) You state that your room was locked but do not mention that you were in a mixed dormitory of strangers and that your camera was in your open bag. We provide lockers in the rooms and free safe deposit boxes in reception and I do not know what more we can do for the safety of goods in our dormitories. I also find it hard to believe that you had such a bad stay as you extended your stay with us after this incident by another 5 days. I am truly sorry for your loss but we do expect guests to make use of the secure facilities provided for the protection of their valuables as advised by the notices up in the dormitories.
