This place is very old (over 100 years), not the cleanest, and things seemed to be broken often due to the aging facilities. It looks nothing like the pictures. Overall it was worth the money. It's a cheap place to stay right in the heart of downtown. You can walk to 16th street malll. The staff was okay. Kinda slow, and they over charged me.. but i think they will be nice about fixing it. I would recommend this place to anyone who just needs a place to crash and doesnt care about the atmospher Gina, from USA ~ 4th Jan 2012

A nice man walked me to and from my car. I appreciated this since the hostel was in kind of a sketchy area. I think he was actually getting off work from the hostel, but did this anyways. Definitely above and beyond what I expected. Carrie, from USA ~ 28th Nov 2011

I attended a conference in Denver. This hotel/hostel is cheap and allowed me to be in Denver for a week. without this hotel I will not be able to attend the conference. I likede my room and I had a very good feeling during all my stay in this hotel. Ioana, from Romania ~ 23rd Nov 2011

Beds could be a bit better & the wi fi is a good concept. However, they need to make sure that the cleanliness & standards are maintained since for such hostels there is a distinct possibility of things going downhill pretty qucikly. Good staff, clean premises & spacious environment, beds could be a bit better though, locker concept was good so was the no sharing concept with regards to beds. Recommended if you want to try out a wild adventure like me :D. Nitesh, from India ~ 20th Aug 2011

This is a very basic, budget hotel/motel. The rooms weren't unclean, but Denver is evidently a place where there are bugs, so keep the windows shut - but the problem with that is no air conditioning! AAE has some audacity advertising it's motels as hostels when they are not at all - especially when appealing to young people. This one was apparently some kind of criminal rehab, we had no trouble, but I wouldn't recommend to individuals travelling alone. Overall "shabby" Sean, from England ~ 23rd Aug 2011

Not really a hostel, more of a halfway home for slightly unbalanced 40 year old men. Look it was probably the worst hostel Ive ever stayed in, but thats only because it shouldnt be marketing itself as a hostel. Its more of a dirty and cheap motel and if thats what your after, fine. Just know what your getting into David, from Australia ~ 8th Aug 2011
