directions on website from greyhound are wrong - station has moved & now by the airport. approx 1 hr on the bus or $25-30 cab ride. not actually a hostel - it\'s a motel with a few rooms with bunks. good having ensuite/tv but mattresses not comfortable & bunks very squeaky. good location close to downtown & safe to walk to town/beale st etc $5 baggage storage = expensive amelia, from New Zealand ~ 8th Dec 2011

This hostel was really good. It is located in the Downtown area, the staff was really friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and nice. Daniela, from Germany ~ 24th Nov 2011

Free breakfast- THIS WAS ADVERTISED ON BOTH THE INTERNET SITE AND AT THE HOTEL ITSELF... But when we got there, we were told that we had to pay for breakfast. Microwave and Fridge in everyroom- AGAIN, AS ADVERTISED.. We expected this in EVERY ROOM but no. Not in ours, despite asking for one once we had realised on our first day. Hotel staff were helpful but were not very receptive upon a comment made regarding FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Louise, from England ~ 22nd Nov 2011

This hostel is more like a motel/ hotel so its not that easy to make friends etc if you are travelling on your own. The big plus side is the location. Very close to the main street and is right in the heart of Memphis. Andres, from USA ~ 18th Nov 2011

Because it was clean, very well located to the centre of town and reasonably priced. John, from England ~ 22nd Oct 2011

One of the worst hotel/hostel experiences I've ever had. First we were given a dorm-style room, instead of the double-private we had booked. It was 2am, and there were already people in there, so this added 20 confused, exhausted minutes to when we could possibly get to sleep. There were no towels, either, though there was a roach clinging to the wall above the bed. Finally, the next morning, rushing for a flight, we discovered the shower barely dribbled, rendering it useless. Avoid this place Sarina, from USA ~ 27th Oct 2011

Hostels.com quoted me a rate for three nights for one person for $234.56. The quote said I should expect to pay $211.10 on arrival. On arrival I was charged $245.43.This is in addition to the $25.46 deposit I made when I booked. The hotel said that I had to pay tax of 16%. That was never mentioned. So two points: The deposit is a booking fee and is not returned and the quote did not include tax. Beware of bait and switch. Hotel was fine. But yes, cheerios and frosted flakes for breakfast.
