The freshly baked brown Austrian bread at breakfast was a nice touch!

Most hostels try to ensure that guests don\'t make noise indoors, but it doesn\'t quite work when they gather outside to smoke and drink as the noise carried very clearly. It was as though a party was going on in the next room.

Very comfy for a one-night stay. The house the hostel was in was very nice. However, noise carries very well and I was kept awake by other guests drinking outside.

A very comfortable and homey hostel.Delicious homemade bread and pure OJ and good coffee for breakfast. Nice well-stocked kitchen facility. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Hostel is surrounded by lots of green. Very clean. Wash basin in dorm rooms. Nice sitting area. Highly recommended.

the welcoming was brillant, beds comfortable, we had hot showers and the breakfast was suffisant(tea, coffee, orange juice, bred, butter, jam, brown bred). I recommend this place!!! :)

A lovely little town with a lovely hostel. What more could you wish for, the smell of fresh bread being made for breakfast, clean large rooms and a large comfy communal area. Staff were lovely and friendly and there was always someone to talk to, plus waking up with a view of Croah Patrick was the icing on the cake. Go there! If you go no where else in Ireland go there!

The hostel was fine and the staff were friendly. However, I stayed there on a Sat. night and a group of young lads were roaring around the hostel for hours. The staff should have stopped them and thrown them out. All the guests complained and the staff did apologise but I thought it was too little too late. I got very little sleep because of those drunken As*h!"£s......
