Because the rooms and especially doors were so poor that i almost felt like it was open eventhough it was closed. Also i might have been there at the wrong time, because there was construction work going on right next to my room. Magnus, from Norway ~ 6th May 2012

The hostel is being renovated at the moment, so expect hammering starting from 8.30 a.m. on weekdays. The first floor is already renovated and the rooms as well as the bathrooms are friendly, clean and modern. The room are equipped with fridge and cutlery, but there are no tables, neither in the kitchen. So you need to go down to the common room if you want to eat sitting. The price is unbeatable for what you get but I assume it will go up as soon as the renovation is completed. Magdalena, from Austria ~ 9th May 2012

I had room 202 a very nice room with twin bed which we moved together. the bathrooms are clean the showers also and incredibly hot. there are no bugs or whatsoever..if you buy an oyster for bus for 7 days it's about 18 pounds and from hammersmith (where the hostel is located) you can visit a lot of things by bus. NO BREAKFAST, cold water in the showers, very unfriendly staff at the reception, we could not pay with a card but only cash, the whole building was too cold, no elevators for the heavy luggage Maria, from Germany ~ 10th Feb 2012

A wonderful simple place without frills or pretensions, where you can have some privacy (at least in a private room, can't speak to the dorms). Very nice showers, warm rooms, very close to Hammersmith tube line. Emily, from USA ~ 22nd Jan 2012
