I can't really complain about this hostel. Compared to previous hostels I've stayed in the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and it wasn't any more expensive. One of the bathrooms could have used a little work, but there were multiple communal bathrooms on the floor to choose from, some more clean than others. The bedroom, however, was very comfortable and clean. The hostel even offers free WiFi As for the staff, they were magnificently kind and helpful: they accommodated us with eve Sevan, from USA ~ 10th Mar 2010

Bedsheets had holes and weird stains and appeared to be hand me downs from Mass Gen- not OK. Otherwise, no real complaints. Great price, fun part of town. Nolan, from USA ~ 8th Mar 2010

Everything was just fine, excellent service from the manager, except for the bed that had no very good blankets and the snoaring guy that I had next to me during one night, lol. But it is such a good place If You want to know harvard, MIT or Boston College, is close to train and is on a very quiet zone. And most of all, You can meet such a nice people there. Good place if u r looking for cheap. They don\'t provide soap but if you ask for it they will give it to you and are very nice about it. Why is that? Rooms are big but not elegant. Great city section Melody, from USA ~ 16th Feb 2010

The bed is not clean. It's not convenient to get to the hostel, only the green train, and having to wait long. It is close to Harvard, however. The hostel just opens, and needs much improvment. The most terrible thing is that the door is broken, and we can't get out of our room from inside after closed during the night, and have to wait until morning when the officer is on work. Far from the center, no breakfast, room and bathroom not very clean, holes in the sheets, bitten by something during the night. No real map of the city at the office. Very cold at night. One plus: beautiful victorian house. Vincent, from France ~ 19th Dec 2009

This hostel is not fancy or new, but my room was well cleaned. I stayed Single-Private room which has private bathroom. There was a kitchen in my room. However it is not useful except a refrigerator. There was only one blancket, so when I was sleeping, I felt cold a little (I stayed there in the end of Novenber). On the road in front of the hostel, there are only weak lights, so I felt scary at late night, though nothing happened. Overall, I'm satisfied with having stayed this hostel. I had a nice experience at this hostel some days ago. It is not close to downtown. However, green line B is pretty close, neighborhood is safe and quiet, and there are restaurants and coffee shops pretty close too. Bad: only 1 bathroom/toilet per floor. If there are 4 rooms for 5 people (at least), I guess that 1 toilet per 20 people is even illegal....; it is too warm in the rooms, too marta, from Spain ~ 23rd Nov 2009

As a place to crash and sleep, it was very nice Good points: - Close to bus and Rail - Nice neighbourhood, although it could get pretty loud at night - Grocery stores close by Few inconveniences were: - No shampoo and Soap provided so had to go buy own -Large towel was provided but small towel was not so had to get something to scrup body with - Its pretty much an apartment that's been turned into hostel so no way to meet neighbours (and half the fun of a hostel is exactly that) 7.2/10 Kengo, from Canada ~ 23rd Nov 2009
