The hostel is in a very dirty and ugly area of the city. 20 minutes walk from the central station, far from the center. The reception is not open 24 hours a day, actually I arrived at 1pm and no one was there. No sign indicating the hostel, just a handwritten paper saying to call them if nonone was there. I just went away and looked for another hostel. Sorry but for that price I expect a 24 hours reception and a hostel in the city center.
sorry simona, we were here! sometimes people dont push the bell hard enough, thats why we ask to ring us. we mention on our discription that we dont have a 24 reception. we are a family hostel we do everything to make our guest happy, look at the other ratings,.... it really hurts me that you say we have no character its not clean,... you ve never been here! you sended us a mail that you stayed in another hostel,... and asked us not to charge you, wich we did nt(we're backpackers to, so we understand what can happen) but now to push us in the back,...it hurts! bridget

Even though it's further from down town, we had no troubles finding it. This hostel is one-of-a-kind... Bridget (owner) is a wonderful person who will go out of her way to make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home. The hostel has a wonderful environment for both meeting new people, , and when the occasion arrises being by yourself... this is the place to go... if you ever go to antwerp, stay here!!! We had a really nice stay in this hostel. the family is very helpful and friendly and its just nice to be there. you can walk everywhere by foot, but the neighborhood was looking a little bit strange. but we had no problems and always felt safe. so go there! Caroline, from Germany ~ 18th Jul 2009

This is a great, small hostel that is run by a family and has a real family homely feel. They were extremely helpful, from sites to see, to cheap clean places to eat. The area looks a little rough at first, but is only a short tube ride away from town centre. I would def stay here again! great place! big kitchen, big lounge, big shower!
