Abraham House staff is very helpful to transfer my bookings to Ashfield House due to building maintenance. Ratings are based on Ashfield House. I stayed in a 2 bed ensuite room for 3d2n. The room is clean and tidy but quite cold at night as heating system was not on and the window has good ventilation. Staffs at Ashfield House are very friendly and helpful. Quite noisy on Monday night as there are clubs nearby. But this hostel is recommended and will come back and stay next time. Kui Tien, from Malaysia ~ 19th Nov 2009

I\'ve been very disappointed by this hostel. The breakfast was awful, by far the tiniest I\'ve ever seen in a hostel. The people were not very helpful and the sheets of the cover are not changed between two people. OLIVIER, from France ~ 17th Nov 2009

The location was great, the price was low, and the staff were helpful and friendly, but the toilets were a little disturbing. The toilet in my 10 bed dorm didn't have a seat attached. The stairways were loose and seemed kind of dangerous. For 10 euros a night it was alright, but I think I'll be trying other hostels next time. Nathan, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2009

I liked this hostel very much. It is nice and clean, and at breakfast you can meet lots of interesting people. The location is ideal, as it is very close to O\'connell street, to trinity college and to st Stephen\'s Green. I strongly reccommend this hostel. Roxana, from Moldova ~ 7th Sep 2009

Located right next to O'Connell Street, the Abraham House is a somewhat typical urban-hostel-compound that sees a lot of traffic. It is very close to the bus station and restaurants/pubs are a five-minute walk away to the west or a ten-minute walk across the river to Temple Bar. Overall, the place is an alright choice for one's lodgings while in Dublin. Grant, from USA ~ 2nd Sep 2009

Very good hostel. I would have liked cornflakes for breakfast, though, not just bread. But that's the only remark I've got, because the hostel is really great. Jonas, from Belgium ~ 27th Aug 2009

Perfect hostel if you just need a place to sleep. It's quiet, clean, near all the pubs and the city center, it's secure, the beds are good, nice bathroom. Breakfast was very simple, but we payed only 13€ a night, so no problem! I'd definitely recommend this hostel! Natalie, from Netherlands ~ 12th Aug 2009
