The main door is open to anyone who wants to come inside the hostel, because no ID is required at the front desk. at room G1 the litter bin did not work well so that it was a little uncomfortable opening it.

I found that most of the staff except one were very rude and brusque towards guest. Prices excellent. However, in room 20 the drains were blocked in shower full of hair which was not that nice. Overall location was fab and price. On a customer service level,I would not stay here again despite price being so good. It costs nothing to be polite or to smile. I mean if you take a job at reception, surely it implies you like working with people.

Abraham House is the best bang for your buck. Courteous staff and clean rooms is all travelers can ask for, and that's exactly what you get from Abraham house.

I liked the hostel - stayed three days - as it was pretty clean, the computers were handy, room #16 with individual shower and toilet was great! THe older guy at the front desk was sexist and asbusive to other staff, however. There was an outstanding young man on the afternoon shift who helped some people locate me!

Good hostel, with nice staff. The room I was in was very muggy though...but I guess that's what happens when you have so many people in one room.

The breakfast lacks substance and is run by a crass and brute Polish woman who is very mean. The croissants are stale; the coffee and OJ more like water. The kitchen hours end @ 9pm. They are very strict with this time schedule and do not budge in the least. Also, the manager (Shane) sells beds for substantially less (15 euros less) to people coming in off the street. I WOULD DEFINITELY THINK TWICE ABOUT STAYING HERE AGAIN.

This was our first Hostel, so we do not have much to compare it to.
