Very practical for a hotel-like stay. Only one block from the train station, so easy walking distance to almost all downtown attractions and great for early/late train connections. Neighborhood gets pretty sketchy at night, but otherwise a very clean, organized hostel which feels more like a hotel.

The photo is a liar. The hostel is OK, but if you think that you will find the hotel of the photo...you are wrong...The hostel is inside the hotel. A special part of the hotel...and the rooms doesn\'t have bathroom or shower...like in a hostel...

The location of the hotel is convenient, being right down the street (2 blocks) from the central train station, and 1 block away from a fantastic Thai restaurant. However, that being said, the area itself is a little seedy - with plain clothes hookers looking for business just across the street amongst the Sex Show shops and strip bars. It's fine during the day, but I wouldn't have felt 100% safe walking back at night. The breakfast is included in the price, which is a huge bonus because

We had a private room, it was really good. The rooms are basically part of the hotel which is good as you get all the same facilities, but also makes it not have a 'hostel' atmosphere for meeting people. Would definitely recommend

Pro: Breakfast was 6.5/10. Bread, cheese, coffee/tea, ham, Nutella jam spread - YUMMY! Hard boiled eggs runs out early. Its really a hotel but with shared restrooms. Cons: It can be noisy when neighbor closes their door. Porn on TV is repeated. Overall: 7.5/10

It's clean, it's quirky (try the emergency exits!), seems safe. Breakfests are, so to speak, unlimited, with free Thermos refill and reasonably tasty. Well placed, near the station, but if you're not keen on sex shops and prostitutes you shouldn't go scouting in the area.
