Hostel was in a good area close to the metro and close to the centre of town, however there was a lack of atmosphere. Good place for somewhere to sleep. Mohini, from England ~ 29th Oct 2009

Location is not bad, helpful staff, free interenet is the best part for me. ^_^ It\'s the hostel that i would really recommend to my fds who may visit Paris. Chien-chih, from Taiwan ~ 24th Oct 2009

Breakfast included cereal, OJ, tea/coffee, croissant & roll: really substantial, and more provided on request. Three computers (free) in lobby. Wonderful front desk girls! Location is fab, with many food options en route the 3 blocks to the Metro. They also have a book of info on how to get to near-Paris spots (such as Monet's Giverny, Disneyworld, etc.). Highly recommended, and will stay here next time! Laurel, from USA ~ 22nd Oct 2009

Location's great, the wallpaper's great, front desk is friendly, helpful and speak english. The man that serves breakfast puts a real downer on the start of your day... he doesn't say anything, and his eyes just say "what do ya want?" I found out that you CAN actually get cereal AND bread, it's just that he always runs out of bowls and he doesn't check to stock them back up, nor does he explain anything with body language or english. Room was clean except for the moldy shower curtain and bad sme Yoko, from Japan ~ 1st Oct 2009

I really liked this place; lots of everything just meters away. A busy area, and a bit of noisy traffic, but the frenetic activity lets you know you're in Paris. No lockout during the day...I liked that. William, from Canada ~ 1st Oct 2009

good location but thats about it.. no security or lockers.. so all you stuff is out in the open.. creaky beds.. no social aspects.. not even a common room to meet people.. scott, from Australia ~ 2nd Oct 2009

The rooms are pretty small and there are no lockers for your possessions. The bathroom is also a bit run-down but fairly clean. However, I think the accommodation is probably of a higher standard than what many Parisians live in, so keeping that in mind, this hostel is probably as good as you're going to get for this price. The staff were very friendly, except for the guy who dishes out the breakfast. He was extremely rude and the hostel would do well to get rid of him. Clare, from Australia ~ 27th Sep 2009

The only redeeming quality about this hostel is the location. I was there during renovations and staff didn't seem too concerned with the appearance of the hostel during this time (i.e. dirt and dust everywhere, filthy carpets). The noise from renovations was often unbearable. Staff were generally okay but one Justin Timberlake-wannabe staff member named Tomi was extremely unhelpful. He seemed annoyed when asked a simple question and spent most of the time chatting with a buddy. I understand no Kristina, from Canada ~ 26th Sep 2009

Loved this place. Make sure you hit up the local market in the nearby park if you're there on a Tuesday or Friday. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Laundromat next door. Free wifi in the lobby. A little cramped downstairs, but overall I thought it was fantastic. Jansson, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2009
