Don't go there in winter - no heating, scarce hot water. But staff is nice David, from France ~ 14th Aug 2011

Had some of my belongings stolen here but it wasn't really the hostel's fault. Staff was helpful but the room wasn't very warm. Their sister hostel Atacama was much better. Andre, from Canada ~ 15th Aug 2011

Very helpful and smiling staff, nice meetings as well ! We were offered a delicious cake for a friend's birthday ! Nice hostel, in a very pleasant part of Santiago, quite closed to the downtown... sebastien, from France ~ 4th Aug 2011

we had a very nice stay at Aconcagua hostel and enjoyed our time. the staff was really nice, the only sad point was that my sunglasses have been stolen... but anyhow, the staff was really nice! Fabian, from Germany ~ 14th Mar 2011

When I arrived, the receptionist HAD to finish her conversation on her phone, even though I had been standing there forever. Then when the night guy who was working (who was also drinking beer and playing pool with his friend) was told that door didn't lock, he said "why would you want to lock it?" Well, that is why I paid for a single room so I could lock it and feel safe. One man was nice to me, but the staff was not eager to help . Good location and nice tv. Alyssa, from USA ~ 14th Mar 2011
