Not very quiet to my standards, the area itself is not a fantastic area, the blankets are kind of thin. However, the setup was great, the room itself had acceptable privacy despite sharing, the hot water comes right out when I showered. The maids were there daily to clean, there is so much free stuff to take advantage of. I especially appreciated the shuttle, and free internet. The staff are very cheerful and willing to help. For the price to stay, this was an excellent choice. Jennifer, from USA ~ 10th Nov 2009

Its definitely a good value for the price and you'll meet nice people (guests and staff). Its a bit far away from everything else you want to see in LA beside the airport ;) but they do have a car rental agency in the hostel. Andreas, from Germany ~ 21st Sep 2009

Hostel was good value for money considering all the free food and shuttle service provided. It was just a bad location in my opinion as it took a long time to get to any attraction, etc. Anne-Marie, from Ireland ~ 18th Aug 2009

It's a hostel so you don't expect much and it's cheap with a good shuttle service to and from the airport. All the little extra's they give like cookies and popcorn, etc is good. They really do need to upgrade the bathrooms though. They need repairs and better cleaning. Also a need for better airflow in the dorms during the summer. I think they're trying to squeeze too many people! Stephen, from New Zealand ~ 17th Aug 2009

Main Biz is Hotel/Motel. Backpaking biz is just a bonus. Staff CANT provide tourist and useful info including maps that backpackers need. Only provides free shuttle to LAX transit depot and you are on your own. Because of volume of transactions, Staff may seem rude at times. No kitchen, no fridge, no TV/movie, no lockers in room. In fairness, they offer freebies ie. ALL-CARBO breakfast, cookies & dinner, and pool. BEWARE - Aside from the 10% U already paid to Hostels.com on booking, they Eddie, from Philippines ~ 27th Jul 2009

Trevlig innegård men INTE trevlig personal. Nära till flygplatsen, så de sista eller första dagarna på resan kan man bo här. Karolina, from Sweden ~ 7th Aug 2009

Very bad experience. The staff had a big problem to check my payment, and for that reason they bother me at 8 in the morning. They even took my bag away just to wake me up. It's far away from Holleywood/downtown(about 2 hour). Consider the time and money you waste on transportation. LI, from Taiwan ~ 23rd Jun 2009
