African House Hotel in Cairo, Egypt

We have stayed in 2 other hostels.This african was the best because of its staff.It is not that luxury,but you feel that easy that you are at home.Rooms are clean,location is central.They organise cheap and nice tours. haman, from Germany ~ 15th Jul 2009

The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The rooms have special feeling as the hotel situating in a traditional colonial building; on the one hand you can feel to be present the history on the other hand the recently renovated rooms are fine and show modern decoration. I participated on a tour organized by them to Dahsur, Memphis and Sakkara. It was cheep and well organized. Cheap and nice decorated hostel located in the quite part of downtown.Clean rooms with so comfortable beds,wooden floor give you feeling that you live in old victorian palace.Staff was the best in egypt,lots of infos about the country and traditions and accurate directions.Not pushy for tours.We recommend them highly. sandra, from Germany ~ 17th Apr 2009

It's a very nice hostel, beautiful rooms and located in a nice area. Staff is so friendly and tremendously helpful! I got sick for two days from the travel to Cairo and here they helped a lot with bringing food to the room etc. Thanks to the hostel ,i had a very nice stay at Cairo.
