It was too much fun there and I'll tell people to go there, i'll be back shortly after i finish my trips in africa:-) it was amazing service and very clean room.the hostel driver waited for me 2 hours in the airport as my flight arrived late. the bathrooms looks like new always.I enjoyed my stay. see you soon guys!
I arrived in cairo with no plans for my two weeks...the staff worked out everything for me: my trips and transportation, etc. They worked out everything for a very reasonable student price. perfect rooms, central location, so nice people. ideal for students!
perfect place to stay
Really was fantastic hostel.Central located in the downtown area.Amazing staff who have patience to explain for you everything abot egypt(we have booked Luxor&Aswan tour with them).Cheap prices and free internet is an excellent offer.We have met a lot of american,canadian and australian there and the hostel was always full which made our stay there very nice .We recommend this place for anybody who looks for cheap&clean hostel in cairo.

African Hostel was fantastic!! The location was great (right in the heart of downtown). The staff were very helpful. I would recommend this for anyone to stay in Cairo.
perfect hotel to stay
it is really nice hostel and what ever I have been said I will not be able to say what I really felt in this cute ,lovely,amazing,calm and clean hostel like this one and the services were really great and quiek; by the way it is the only place arround all the world you can find sme things for free with big smile (free internet & hot drinks 24 hours for free!!!! and you are really more than welcome but you have to see by your self and feel it really you will never forget it ...also they give you a lot of importanat informations about the directions and the people in the country to let you feel exactly it is your home... there is a lot of good things to see in Cairo but there is only one hotel to stay in ...
Truly felt at home here. Mohammed and his staff really go out of their way to ensure that you have an good time in Cairo. The room was very spacious and the building (one of the oldest in Cairo) full of character. Don't miss the Greek restaurant located in the back part of the building. One non-hostel related tip, skip the camel rides at the pyramids, they are overpriced, the animals sadly mistreated and your will be pressured for even more money at the end of your ride.
The best hostel i have ever stayed in egypt.Very cheap and clean and they have the most important arrangements which any tourists may need like airport pick up(it is so important if you are lonely female arriving so late in cairo airport),internet service free of charge(so i dont have to go to the street in late time or even during so sunny daytime).Breakfast is good and bathroom inside room is more than great with such prices.They organise great tours here with fest prices(some other tours which booked by other guests was same prices like mine).I recommend this place for any budget travellers.
