The Hostel is very easy to reach, but thanks to the nearby fishmarket its a bit smelly. The rooms are equiped with a nice fan. The bathrooms are a bit too small and in the mens room usually there was a small pond (dirty water on the floor). If you plan to sleep during the day you should know that the house is directly located next to the railway (first train at about 6:00 last: 23:00). Camillo, from Switzerland ~ 14th Aug 2009

We loved this hostel. It is in the town center and has a bar attached. It also has a creek running through a cave underneath. Ask the staff to show you where it is. Amanda, from USA ~ 24th Feb 2009

It's a great place, I had a ton of fun here, staying a couple extra nights. As the other reviews probably mention, there's a train track right outside, not a lot of hot water for the showers, and the beds are super squeaky, but you're a traveler so it's all good, none are a big deal. Great location right by the Piazza Duomo, and awesome staff who can give you great tips on everything from churches to gelato. Both the dinner and bar on site are good. Tim, from USA ~ 21st Dec 2008

Aside from the mosquitos and loud beds, this was a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. At first apperence, it looks kind of sketchy place but I did not have any troubles at all. Mitch, from USA ~ 18th Nov 2008

Nice hostel, very, very nice staff with lots of information. Big Problem: The noise. We slept in a double in the floor and next to our rooms are the chairs and tables, which are needed for the bar outside. It makes lots of noise in the middle of the night, when they are put back. We could only sleep with earplugs and didn't have very good and relaxing nights... In my opionion the two double in the floor shouldn't be offered for guests or at least not for 20 Euro p.P.
