Close to the fish market and so it is hard to sleep because they arrive at 4 in the morning to set up, but who wants to sleep in the hostel when you can sleep at the beach?
As of yet, the loudest hostel with the most uncomfortable pillows...literally had an awful neck the following morning. The restaurant and bar are great though, as is the tour of Mt. Etna provided at the front desk... ensure you go with the 4wheeler tour, much better, as the other tour group in the van did not sound nearly as good as ours!

Good location. There is a great street market right outside the hostel. The people are very helpful and accomodating.

Not a terrible hostel. Good for the price. Happy our is legit. The food is really good (at the restaurant, not the breakfast). The rooms get pretty hot and yes there are mosquitos, but its cheap. not bad.

Las taquillas son grandes,pero tienes que llevar tu propio candado.Por la noche es horrible pq se convierte en un bar de copas y habia en la calle unas 200 personas haciendo ruido hasta las 5h de la mañana.Si quieres ir de marcha,bien. De lo contrario,no dormirás nada.

I had a great time here - the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and there's quite a fun buzz about the place. The bar and La Grotta are great as well. The massive downside is that there's no protection against Mosquitoes and a few people I know got bitten quite badly - including me!
