Ah Shan Hostel Hong Kong in Kowloon, Hong Kong

very near to subway (good) but hard to find. call and ask for getting catched up at mongkok station. clean, tiny bathrooms, but rest comfortable. free internet, friendly and helpfully staff. Martin, from Czech Republic ~ 19th Oct 2009

The people managing the hostel are really nice and are very accommodating. Not hard to communicate with them as they speak English. The hostel is conveniently located near the Mong Kok MTR so it is very accessible. It gave me value for my money. I was there beginning of september 2009. don't expect anything special. Just a bed and AC. the area is not the best to stay but I felt secure and is close to the metro station, markets, and shopping areas. There was no door in the shower (inside the bathroom). Right next to the MTR light rail train stop to everywhere. Nice staff, clean towel, hot water, sheets, air conditioning, etc. I'd stay there again for sure!

great locations - near ladies Market and Mong Kok station right in front of the door. Small but very clean and tidy rooms. Free WiFi and Internet Access via computer for hostel guests. New towel each day and aircon in rooms. UK power jack in rooms -> do not forget your adapter. 7eleven and Mc Donald's only a few steps away, local restaurants as well. Bus transfer to airport about 30 minutes and also very close to hostel. Enjoyed the stay Matthias, from Germany ~ 19th May 2009
