Albareda Youthhostel in Barcelona, Spain

unfortunately any good experience i may have had at this hostel was ruined by the rudeness of the night receptionist toward myself and my daughter. In all my years of travelling and all the hostels i have stayed in i have met anyone so rude. Ït was a sitation which could have been hanndled a lot better and in a much more professional way. The other staff in this hostel were very polite but it only takes one person to ruin what could have been a great experience.

Dear Teresa, You came one day before of your reservation , we helped you in other hostels searching beds ina very beasy day in Barcelona. The staff in this hostel is 100% polite and helpful.but you idn,t want to give the ID cart of your daugther to the reception at night ,that is absolutly obligatory for the security and orden of the hostel and you was crying disturbing other guests .The staff was explaining to you were doing his job. Please be care having your ID travelling around the world and no desestimate in a top hostel the big work that the staff do for everything .

Great value for your dollar! Amiable and helpful staff, had some great recommendations on things to do/restaurants and bars to go to. Very clean with strong security including individual lockers. Located about a half mile from Las Ramblas, perfect location! Kyle, from USA ~ 11th Aug 2009
