Our room was nice and tidy and staff friendly and helpful... nevertheless the hostel was extremely noisy even after 10pm (doors slamming all the time, people shouting, noisy water pipes etc...) and the kitchen very dirty. Apart from that everything was ok.

Dim lighting couldn't hide stained torn carpet or filthy walls. Half the people didn't answer when you said hi. Danny on staff was nice and helpful.

Very busy dark kitchen with computers in one corner. The staff were very friendly but I only saw one native English speaker - not the best for communication between backpackers of various nationalities and not great for passing on local knowledge

Great location - really central and near all the sights and shops. Still manages to be quite quiet as well! Rooms basic but perfectly functional.

Hostel was clean and suitable if you are just after a place to lay your head. If you are after interaction and staff advice, then this place is definitely lacking. It is a very \'old\' hostel - but the thing going for it is the LOCATION!! :)
Awesome location, safe place to stay and clean facilities. Most of the staff very helpful and friendly with a few spoiling our opinion of the team overall. Good safe place in a good location just lacking the fun aspect of other backpackers.
