I was very happy of my stay, I traveled alone but I met many people.the staff was great, always ready to help, provide information (map, useful flyer for tourism...). I Liked the breakfast with the home made cake, Sangria parties, djembe night, playstation. Bus station to airport, or megabus is closed... it's closed to everything. Feels like an abandoned warehouse! With no atmosphere! Rip off compared to other hostels we stayed at in Montreal. The decor is very poor. There is no ceiling, wires are hanging out everywhere, the toilet flush part dosent even have a lid on it! It's disgusting! The kitchen in the hostel is really nice and the staff there are nice that they will help me a lot. The hostel is really clean and I made lots of friends because we can use the common space there and when I go to Montreal again, I will choose this hostel for my first choice because of its reasonable price and good services provided by the staff Yuen Mei, from Hong Kong ~ 27th Apr 2012

As soon as I checked in, a hostel staff introduced about Montreal sightseeing. That is interesting and kind. Breakfast provided two types of bread,jams, butter, milk and juice. It was good for saving money. I stayed in woman domitory for 8 people. It is consisted of two rooms and each room is for 4 people. It was comfy. I had such a great time in the Alexandrie-Montreal. Especially the amazing athmosphere which I had experienced never before. Everybody is superfriendly and open-minded. Even though nobody knew each other we had a great New-Years-Eve. Plus the included small breakfast in the morning also created a familiar feeling. The staff was extremely fun. I went there for Halloween. You can literally, go there with no plans and they'll have every resource to help you find out what to do. I mean maps galore and everything is posted on the walls. And so many rooms you beyond to have a travelling companion if you going by your self. =) Dennis, from USA ~ 15th Dec 2011

Great location, great people. I only had a chance to spend a small time here but the staff and other guests made me feel very welcome!
