My husband and I did a five city tour of Europe, all hostels. Alice in Wonderland was by far the best. The owners Maxi and Elke were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Maxi gave us an itinerary and a map which we found extremely helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean as well. There was a great breakfast, better than I've had at most hotels, which was really nice. I highly recommend it. I'd go back for sure.

This place was the highlight of our European trip! It is not the place for people seeking a wild party hostel, but for a couple like us seeking a comfortable refuge from bustling Rome, paired with incredible service at a lovely place, Alice in Wonderland is the place to book!

this place definitely lives up to its name.. if you want to feel like alice in wonderland, stay here. trippy at best. owners very helpful, but the woman is a little strange. within walking distance to colosseum, but not much else. be prepared for flooding in their bathrooms, none of the showers work do a very good job at keeping water off the floor, and they do not provide bath mats. best breakfast in europe, though!

We are a family with adult children and found Alice in Wonderland to be an ideal choice as a B&B in Rome. The location was perfect for us as parents to sightsee and for our daughters there was good shopping nearby. Hosts Massimo and Elke were knowledgeable and helpful at all times and the breakfasts were excellent. I highly reccommend Alice in Wonderland

My friend and I absolutely loved this adorable B&B. Very nice owners, cute dogs, very comfortable rooms with SkyTV, and all around great place. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
