It is a very nice hostel and I would definitely recommend it. We had lots of fun and got to know soo many nice people. It is kind of far though. It is an half hour walk to downtown and the area doesn't seem very safe.

Very close to a metro station and a big supermarket. This hostel offers the advantages of a hotel stay but with cheaper rates. Before arriving advice the owner of your checking time and at your arrival make sure you ask him all the relevant questions because he won’t tell you without prompting. After that, chances are that almost all the time he will be contactable by telephone only. Although it has a well-equipped kitchen with a bar and chairs, this is not the kind of hostel where

Es un hostel acogedor, pequeño, limpio y un poco alejado del centro. Buenas instalaciones de cocina, pero los lavabos son demasiado pequeños. En general, si volviera a Toronto, me alojaría en este hostel otra vez. Recomendable.

Initially I received a a very poor room, with no AC and a porch. The room was tiny and I could not stand in it since it had a diagonal ceiling. It was also terribly hot, as this was the hottest week of the year in Toronto. This was terribly frustraing as I expected someting else based on the pictures, though some reviews have warned about this.
