Good size rooms, very clean and secure. Literally across the road from a tube station. Staff were helpful. There was always hot water and enough toilet paper! - functional and safe. A good place if you're just looking for a clean place to crash.

We arrived at the hotel 11.30 am and our room wasnt ready until 19.00 pm.. It really took too long!! We had 3 matresses in our room, and two of them were really bad; it was impossible to sleep on them. We really think they should be changed.

Very noisy halls. Doors don't block noise. Signs of attempted break-in on doors. The entrance door can easily be opened without the code by shoving hand through bars.
Showers a bit dated, but otherwise a good hostel with good access to public transport and such.

The location of the hostel is pretty good. It is a little outside the city near cheap stores. So if you forgot something you can buy it for cheap in the grocery store nearby. It is situated not even a minute away from vogelstr. underground (Metro) Station. from the underground it very easy to get everywhere. I do recommend to print out the map of the underground metro lines. you can buy a daycard of 6.80 euro with which you can travel the whole day in every transportation.The 16 persons room are very spacious and the beds are far from eachother but there is no lock on the door. you can get a simple breakfast for 2,50 euro in the lobby. Berlin is nice and you will hasve fun and this hostel is a good place to stay.
