The room (apartment) was really good, which was a few blocks away from the main hostel office. The only part I didn't like was the location of the main hostel office itself, in a very run down building. However, very good value overall. It was beginning of October, I went to Budapest for some fun and a Karate Championships ;). The hostel seemed a bit vacant and overly calm. Great if you can provide the fun yourself, but I was a bit disappointed - maybe because it was so not in the season. BUT one thing - the building is just a thing to remember. A lot of character :). This hostel was nice but there wasnt much of an atomosphere when we stayed there. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen is nice and easy to use, they have a washing machine but you have to pay to use it, something they dont tell you. Also you have to walk through the 8 bedroom to get to teh 10 bed so dont think ull get more privacy in the bed. Last thing is that the doorway and stairwell before you get upstairs to the main courtyard are really creepy but dont be put off by maria, from England ~ 12th Oct 2009

I loved staying here and did so just before the Sziget music festival. It's a little bit difficult to find (don't bother looking for a sign as there's none, just try to find the house number)Entrance looks very bad but it's lovely upstairs. Free internet with very friendly staff and it's quite cheap. Only 2 bathrooms unfortunately but there was always a great atomsphere there, lovely people I am now very good friends with.
