The relaxed, open-hearted personality of manager Alex and the spacious dining area, kitchen, and bedrooms seem a natural pairing in this welcoming hostel located 10 minutes from the Plaza de Armes in a small protected plaza away from traffic. Alex himself served a delicious breakfast of pancakes filled with bananas a nice change from the usual rolls/butter/jam. The staff were solicitous in finding and getting me to a doctor, then suggesting good places to eat and shop when I felt better. Gaile, from USA ~ 10th Jan 2012

Amazing Hostel is really recommended if your are looking for a quite place in the center of Arequipa. Close to Santa Catalina sanctuary and not far from Plaza de Armas you´ll have a secure and quite comfortable stay. We had a double bed room with good matraces, TV, hot water and good ventilation. There is a kitchen for use, nice pancakes for breakfast in a 2nd floor patio and a roof terrace as well. Alex, the owner is quite friendly and helps you with tips (and als0 guidance) for Colca trecks. Geerd, from Germany ~ 25th Dec 2011
