Outrageous, obviously you don't do your homework. We booked for the Amber however were moved to the Lion Hostel. What a joke. The window was broken - permanently open. When we asked the 'manager' she agreed it was open but didn't know how to have it closed/repaired.The room was cold and up 3 flights of stairs. The quality was inferior. We had no choice in being moved to the Lion - according to the obviously stressed lady at Amber " this happens all the time" and the lady from Hostels.com never

For the price and location you really can't go too wrong. It's pretty plain, but if it's just a place to sleep at night then it's perfect. It's located within a 5min walk of the rynek marketplace, and the tram station is even closer if you need to go anywhere else.
