From the 70+ hostels we have stayed in this would have to rank in the bottom 5. Its best point is its location situated in between the main shopping district and the main park and near lots of restraunts. There is no common area so you wont really meet new people. Reception is not kept which means security is poor. This is highlighted by the previous guests keeping keys to your room so they can access the building to collect their bags (there is nothing stopping them re-entering the room w

we stayed in the appartment, so no staff or fun really, seeing we were all by ourselves, but that is what we wanted! however, when coming in late at night, it was really dark, no lights so it was a bit scarry in the appartment complex. Also, only one key was available. Close to a Metro and downtown which was good'

The reason for the bad security mark is that during the first night of our stay, a person entered one of our rooms while people where sleeping. Some woke up, and started asking the man what the hell he was doing there. He then proceeded to leave. He did however manage to steal a creditcard and some cash. I don't know how he got in since both the front door and the door leading into the room was locked. It was very uncomfortable for the persons involved.

I really loved my stay in this hostel. It is on a beautiful square full of good restaurants and bars, all sights are very close. The place is friendly and cosy, and it is really cheap considering the good location and the ensuite room.

it was a great location to get out and about, however the staff was never there as they only work on arrival day only, the room was not clean on arrival and was no one there to report to, also we runned out of hot water as there was a limited amount for everyone in the hostel. Its just needed a little more attention and love and would have been perfect.
