this hostel is very near the airport, but far from everywhere else. but they do provide a free shuttle to the bus station and its easy enough to make your way to places from there. the area seems pretty dodgy, so we didnt go out at night. but you get looaaddss of free stuff which is amazing!!! and the heated pool is great!

The location and staff were the main upsides. Within walking distance to downtown and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I stayed in a four-person female dorm. It was nice that we got clean sheets, a blanket, in room locker and bathroom. Would recommend.

This is the worst hostel i have ever stayed in! It felt like we were staying in a prison cell! When we arrived there were still the other peoples sheets on our beds and a dirty bathmat on the floor. we were not sure if someone was still staying in our room or not. Then when we went to ask the staff member where the sheets were they were so rude to us. we were not impressed. the attitude of the staff was lazy and unfriendly. there were no organised activities and no fun vibe about th

Although this hostel was in an okay area in SF, getting a private room wasn't the best idea. The mattress still had the plastic on it so everytime me or my boyfriend moved we'd make loud noise. The bathroom had a toilet, shower that didn't work and no door! One plus is that they did provide towels in the room as well as a made bed.... I've only ever stayed in dorms, that didn't offer or provide this service, so that was new to me. But as an overall 1st experience in a private room.... suc

the radiators needed to be attended to, as in it was too hot even in spring. the common areas were not easy to meet people either which has a big impact when travelling alone.

good location but a bit overpriced, you can get cheaper in the same area

The hostel seemed crowded with a lot of people using a small amount of facilities in terms of the kitchen and seating areas. There were only 6 seats in the inside dining area, which were never free and although the breakfast is free, unless you get up and have it at 7am be prepared to queue for a while to use the waffle maker (it only makes two at a time and serves the whole hostel). It also seemed to be mostly groups staying there, which was fine, but as a couple travelling we felt a bit outnum

Great Staff willing to provide assistance. Perfect location for shopping and exploring. The common-area a little dusty/musty, but comes with the character of an older builiding. Overall great stay!
