the Dutch owner of the hostel is very helpful and friendly. The price of the accommodation is very low, especially if you are two people sharing the cost.

Very good value-for-money accommodation. The owner Kees is very friendly and knowlegdeable. His staff are also very friendly, helpful and extremely honest. I'd lost my gold chain at the bungalow I stayed in, but the next day, it was found and returned to me but by one of the staff! I was so happy to get it back intact! I thought I had lost at it at the beach! Thank you very much to you, Kees, and your staff for a most pleasant stay. You can be sure I will be recommending your resort to my friends and family! I will be back!

I quite enjoyed my stay at the Amsterdam Resort. It was the only place that I stayed in the Khao Lak area, but I felt that for the quality of the room and service it was quite a bargain. In terms of location, it's within sight of the beach, which is nice. And since it has internet access and a great restaurant there's not a whole lot of need to head into town, unless you're looking for some nightlife. In that case, it's probably necessary to take a cab, a service also provided by the staff for B100.
