Perfect location right next to the south gate, walking distance to all major sights, except for the big wild goose pagoda and the terracotta army (for which you have to go to the train station), but both of those are not in the main tourist district. Clean and spacious rooms (we stayed in a twin room), clean bathroom, although the drain smelled a bit. Excellent internet access, both via wifi and three public computers for those of us without laptops. Excellent staff with above average english sk

We have really enjoyed Xian and stayed longer at the hostel than we'd planned. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is superb, right next to the city wall at the South gate. We would highly recommend this hostel. Bring Mosi replellent though as there's plenty here. Claire and Jim

Excellent! We met some really interesting people just handing out at the front desk and in the lounge, which also has computers available for you. The best way to find it is to locate the south door of the city wall and look for the "Hostels International" sign or "Paulaner Munich" sign. It is right there. It is reasonable close too to the center of the city where you catch the buses to all the famous sites. The staff is helpful for helping you get where you need to go and there are staff w

our door locks seemed a little flimsy and the balcony would have been easy to access from someone who really wanted to get in. however overall, we were quite happy with the hostel.
