We were given an apartment instead of the two person private room at the hostel. It was very clean and nice, the only negative thing was that this way we didn't get to meet any others staying at the hostel. However, would definitely recommend this to travelling couples who prefer more privacy.

The hostel is not addressed in the place that's shown in the web, so you have to call to a cellphone number and they come and take you there.The floor was very dirty and there was vacuum to clean but was useless. Anyway the place is very big,comfortable and well located.
a great hostel - the owners a wealth of information. You could not ask for a better location right on the vaci utca with a 2 minute walk to the gellert spa. Best pillows i have come across in all my hostel visits.
REALLY FRIENDLY STAFF, NICE ADDED TOUCHES IN THE ROOM BUT NEEDS A SIGN ON THE MAIN STREET WHERE THE EXIT ISNT IN USE, TELLING GUESTS TO PHONE THEIR MOBILE TELEPHONE TO BE SURE AND THEY COME TO THE STREET TO HELP TO COME IN OTHERWISE BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND STAY.

Was a really great apartment like hostel. I like adventures, so i really enjoyed it here. Superb location - can't get much closer to the main strip of Budapest. Friendly staff at all times.

The advertisement of the web site was nothing like the accomodations. We were not accomodated in the location that the web site indicated. We needed to call to get someone to come and take us to our accomodations which was not indicated on the information. The directions from the train station provided were not the easiest way to reach the accomdation. The suggested a combination of bus and metro. The entire trip could be done on the metro with no transfers. After the first contact, there was no one on site to answer questions, and when we called the number provided no one answered. Although the accomdations were clean they were very old. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, and the toilet titlted off the base. The gentleman that did meet us the first day was responsive, answered questions, and gave good recomendations for food and the public baths.
GOOD WITHOUT A DOUBT!! This hostel is unbelievable, it is no ordinary hostel, the staff are so friendly and go well out of their way to make sure you have the best time possible. They gave program for most nights and in the day too, to see the real hungarian sights not just the main tourist things. They are not at all pushy and you dont have to do anything if you dont want. We extended our stay at the last minute and they did everything they could to sort it out for us. It is a very safe hostel with a great location just in the main centre, all the facilites you could need, its very clean, every person we met loved it and they were all great fun! Budapest is a must see place and there is no doubt that i will come back to the hostel as soon as possible, and I didnt want to leave even though we extended our stay! COME TO THIS HOSTEL!
