  • Wifi was very unreliable, slow to the point of being unusable. Many guests experienced this. Breakfast was a joke. Toast and hard-boiled eggs. No milk for tea (just powdered). No option for fried or scrambled eggs.

  • This hostel was really just OK. It was basic, and it had breakfast included, which was a nice change after the other hostels I stayed at in Japan. But it was pretty hard to find, and the rooms were not ideal (there were 2 doors that opened directly onto my bed). The hostel felt more like a YMCA than anything upscale. If you are in a large group, though, it seems like this place might be convenient for you.

  • I arrived at this hostel late at night, tired after a gruelling journey. However, my bleary-eyed self was kindly received by the lovely lady at reception, who gave me tour of the hostel, a first for this kind of accommodation! But so she should, for the building itself is absolutely delightful, an old Japanese style building, and a real clean Japanese style feel; yet at the same time none of the modern amenities like heated toiled or showers were forgone! Toast and tea breakfast included too!!

  • Cleanest hostel I've ever seen, Japanese style environment make it even better. Staff was very friendly. Located very near a metro station. Would definitively recommend it.

  • The staff was always very helpful and eager to help you with any need that you had. They had an excellent system of print-outs that would show you how to get to all the key areas of Tokyo. The shower and bathroom facilities were always clean. The kitchen facilities were adequate for any of your food preparation needs. Their wireless system worked well and they had at least one computer available on each floor. The free breakfast of boiled eggs, toast and jelly, and tea was good enough.

  • One of the best deals if you plan to stay in Tokyo for a while. Staff speaks english and is glad to answer your questions. The Hotel have Secure lockers if you have any valuable belongings. Bedrooms are BIG (at least the 2 pers rooms) compare to usual hostels in Tokyo and CLEAN. Atmosphere and location is great.

  • uncharitably run hostel. minor signs of deterioration could be seen everywhere and were not repaired. rooms looked like they were cleaned hastily. thick layer of dust under the bed. showers were gross. the stairway where luggage was stored could be accessed by anyone and was overlooked by noone, since reception was on 4th floor.

  • For Tokyo it´s seems to me that this one of the best places you can stay. Its good located, clean, and you have at least a bit space. Unfortunately the hostel is under its possibilities. It could be much cooler if it would have more options to hang around and meet other people. But over all its a very good choice.

  • The location is very good. There is one subway station and one JR station nearby. My room and the toilets are very clean. There are a lot of lockers outsides the rooms, but bring your own locks. Tokyo is not cheap. I saved some money by eating their free breakfast. I recommend this hostel.

  • Room was smelly... ! no ventilation at all and overly crowded especially the dorm with double decker deck. I won't stay in that room in future. However, the common area is nice and lively with a friendly peoples from over the world socializing freely. The staff are really great and helpful and speak english very well.

  • Nice little hostel with a great common room for socialising. A little too far from the party, bar and club areas but very close to the subway (which closes at midnight).

  • This place was pretty worth it. The staff was very friendly and spoke english pretty well. The only sort of bad thing was the showers were super tiny, but there were showers on each floor and an elevator. They also had a bunch of information booklets for wherever you wanted to go near them. the breakfast in the morning was also a plus.

  • The staff here are great friendly and helpful. Beds and rooms were comfortable, nice feature was shelf over each bed where you can store backpack, freeing up floor space. I didn't care for low (Japanese style) tables that were very hard to get in and out. The luggage storage was in stair well with no watchful eye and available to anyone walking in from the street. TV was monopolized by owners/staff

  • The location is very good. Near to both JR and metro station and only ~15 min walk to Akihabara. Clean and nice. Very well instructed. Only minus comes from the security. The rooms have keys into them and people are asked to lock the doors when leaving the room but nobody did that at least when we were here. But there is lockers for which you can borrow a lock from the reseption. The lockers are quite small so you can't fit in your backpack for example.
