If you are a couple it is very cheap to stay there. You have your own tv in the room. But the area where we stay has to clean by yourself so it is a little bit dirty. The metro station is only 5 minutes to walk and free parking on the street. If you only sleep there this is the place for but for someone which comes for party search for another! Scary & disaster for everything. 1st, the owner is obssesed with the quietness and the "green" stuff. Everywehere in the house is something telling U to be quiet! Then U paid for something & when U arrive, he gives U a room with no space because he has a lot beds there, plus he doesnt clean the bathrooms.For that U have to pay additional 50$ daily!Then the location is in a very weird and dirty zone...The house is almost in ruins! he pretends to rebuild it with the $2000 fee if you brake some. The locks on the doors didn't look terribly secure, but on the other hand we weren't broken into. Likewise, the bunk-beds didn't look (or feel) particularly sturdy, but nothing broke. The signs everywhere instructing people how to take their shoes off, how to take a shower, how to save energy (Stop Killing!), how to be silent, &c. were a bit over the top, but the place WAS very clean, and very quiet. It was a GREAT place for my group of friends and I to stay for a week before we graduated from college. Yves is a great guy... very accommodating. The rooms are wonderful for the price asked, and it's so close to the metro station, the distance from downtown is like nothing. Absolutely recommended! Christina, from USA ~ 11th Jun 2009

is that really necessary to put all those notes about what to do / not do on the walls ? No smoking (ok, so far i can understand), no smoking in the surroundings of the hostel, wait 1 hour after your last cigaret to go back to the hostel, plus some notes about how to leave your shoes at the entrance, how to have your shower, how to use the sink, the light... !
