The best thing about the hostel is the location. All the major things are within a three minute walk along a historical street. There are at least three big grocery stores right nearby and at least one relatively cheap restaurant with Czech cuisine and Czech bier (U Benedikta, Benediktska 11). The rooms and the toilets were ok, but the showers were a kind of lacking privacy and renovation (but they were hot, it was ok). Even though I booked 2 beds in a 4-bed room, we were placed into a 5-bed room. It did not cause any inconvenience since the neighbors were nice, but the fact itself was not that pleasant.

One lady on the staff ruins it for everyone. but the other guy was very helpful and even found us a place for dinner. The covers on the bed look like they haev been there for years and the showers are like a really bad college dorm. But hey-- you get what you pay for and its not to bad. O except when a guy in your 13 person room decides to have sex with someone else from your room. And you can see it. Yeah taht wasnt to fun.....

great location, fairly clean, although hall smelt like stale cigarettes all the time. nice big rooms, lots of space, and showers were hot. great location you can walk anywhere in prague in a few minutes. would stay there again, good value for price.

Some noise problems (workers just in front of the hotel !), but excellent location and very good staff.

One of the worst hostels I´ve stayed in (I´ve stayed in a lot). The location is very good but it didn´t make up for the other stuff. Right now across the road is some construction going on 24 hours (is that legal?). I didn´t sleep a single night PLUS the beds creak at the slightest movement, the beds are hard and the "pilliows" are ridiculous. The showers don´t have much privacy. If you want a good night´s rest, don´t stay here.

First, security is horrible. While out of my room for ten minutes, my wallet and my girlfriend's purse were stolen, while she was sleeping in the bed. The security measures they have, is a single staff person behind the desk, who is usually too busy with the computer to look up or help the guests with anything. Location is all right, pretty close to old town, but the character of the place is lousy. The only positive I can really say for this place, is that a woman named Nad'ja works there, who went above and beyond to help out two travelers in dire straights.
