Very clean hostel. The staff are nice. The atmosphere for this hostel is a little off; the guests tended to be quiet. It was much more difficult to meet people than usual. The hostel is located in the old city, but is across the street from a very noisy club. Also, the male dorm has 20 beds in it. Between the club and a snooring-sleeper, I had a difficult time getting to sleep.

Location was unbeatable and staff were very helpful. But they did cram a bit too many people into one room. The hostel seemed to have a very good schedule of activities, but alas I was unable to partake in the events. Nice pool table and lounge area though.

The location of this hostel is very good. It is like 10 minutes' walk to the Libery Bell and Independce Hall. But the bathroom is not very good and the water for shower is kind of cold. Staff is nice.

there are too many room mates in a room, about 16?

It is good. But the green apple is in a small alley, which let men feel sort of dangerous. And the kitchen is well equipped. It would be better if there is breakfast.

The first night we were there they had open mic night, and it was actually well done. The free drinks also were enjoyable. The place had a nice common area, and the dorm rooms were simple and tidy.

The staff and the location in the city are superb! All in all I would state that this is one of the best hostels in the universe, and this is from a thorough traveler!

Everything's ok. Very clean and secure. It's in Philly's downtown. There is close a Metro station.
