  • Dear Apple Hostel of Philadelphia, At first I did not know what to expect. This was my first Hostel experience and let me just say that I was truly amazed by the wonderful gem of an Apple Inspired Palace that provided top notch service, hospitality, a warm welcome, and awesome atmosphere. I am artistic. Thus, to be able to stay at a place that is so intricately matched with the "apple" theme and color coordination, especially of the colors: Navy Blue/Lime Green/Bright Orange was divine!

  • I do recommend this hostel. I really love this hostel. Helpful and nice staffs, close to most of the sightseeing, good activities organized for visitors and also free breakfast at the weekends (haha~~). What's more, it is a good place to meet other travelers here.

  • The location is great, and you can't beat that, but the problem is that they don't serve breakfast. I would prefer to have breakfast in the morning than free pasta dinner or free drinks at night.

  • A good place. People who are in charge are very friendly and they helped me a lot. The atmosphere is very good and people can communicate with others. If i go to Philadelphia again, I will choose this hostel.

  • Seemed a bit expensive considering how far it was from the bus stop... I don't know, maybe it's some sort of trendy location that I didn't get to see since I was staying only one night. The guy at the front desk was a bit sour and seemed like he had better things to do than check me in. Other than that a perfectly serviceable hostel and a good night's sleep despite being in a 24-bed room.

  • Best hostel I've seen so far (I've seen 10-15). I was there only 2 nights but both were great: first night there was free pasta / movie night and the second they organized a bar crawl, both created a good atmosphere immediately. Very good service, very well organized. This is the kind of hostel that really takes your feedback seriously and tries to improve things for its customers. Small examples: they even provide free ear plugs and nose pinchers for snoring people!

  • Loved the hostel, they kept my bags after check out and didn't charge me for it. Dorms were spacious and had their own bathroom inside. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night, so people there seemed a bit unfriendly, or maybe I was the one in a hurry, I don't know...Location is PERFECT! Close to Greyhound, Independence Hall...Good restaurants all around. Kitchen was great.

  • The hostel definitely has character and is very conveniently located to a lot of attractions. Waterfront, Society Hill, South Street corridor. You can even walk to City Hall if you're up to it. Only complaint is the place wasn't very clean. Lots of hair everywhere and the bathroom wasn't so clean either.
