Actually, they canceled my booking and relocated to a really bad place. They told me the new hostel would the same quality. Well, if that was true, Apropo must be terrible. No breakfast, no clean folks, no security, no anything.

We stayed in ApropoHostel for two nights. The location is good. It was very easy to reach by tram from the train station and about a 10 minute walk from The Market Square. We had requested a private bathroom but had to take a shared bathroom due to a mix up. However, this was not a problem as both the bathroom and kitchen facilities were very clean. Overall, thumbs up.

Rooms very clean and check in seamless. Bathrooms could have done with a clean as a bit grimey. No hot water for 2 days and no staff there to tell all thought we were given a number we could have rung. Location excellent and building very secure but possibly would not stay again as have stayed in other krakow hostels which were further out but cleaner.

Hostel had great character being set in an old building. I actually stayed in the double bed apartment with private toilet. Security was good with two locked doors and the apartment was set back from the main road via a courtyard. Location was 5-10 min walk to the main square in Krakow which was ideal. Staff were friendly enough but everything was very rushed and I would not have known how to get hold of staff if I had any problems as I never saw any. Cleanliness was not great. The floor was very dirty which meant dirt appear in the beds quickly. A few more complaints are that there was no double bed just two singles with two sets of single sheets put together which meant several times the bed split meaning you end up on the dirty floor. Also have the apartment with cooking facilities there was not enough pans and other cooking equipment to cook any sort of food. There was also not cleaning equipment to clean up after cooking.

This was my first time hostelling as a couple rather than with friends for a longer trip, so it was a bit of a different set up. We booked a private double ensuite room in the newly-converted annex which was great, very clean and quiet, and the location was fantastic; 10 minutes walk into Krakow's main square in the centre of the Old Town. I'm sure that there would have been fun to be had there if we'd wanted it (so please don't be put off by the 'average' rating); it's just that we were doing our own thing really. Highly recommended!

Little hostel (only about 5 bedrooms) with nice big rooms, great location about 5 mins walk from main square

The bathroom can be more comfortable: there aren't plans for things and is small.

It has a modern, designer touch to it. The bathroom is spacious! We saw the staff once at check-in and once at check-out and that was it though.
