I recently stayed in Arabesque and found it quite accommodating. The location was perfect for us. It was walking distance to the museum with little souvenir shops along the way. The staff was very helpful and I found their dining services quite well. The price was just right and did not have any complaints. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone. Despite a sketchy outdoor appearance, the rooms are actually fairly nice. It's not perfect-- the windows may not shut completely, or the water pressure may be a trickle at times, but it's a great value for the money, and the staff is great. Jacey, from USA ~ 3rd Apr 2009

we spent three nights there .... I had a wonderful stay at the Arabesque Hotel! The staff are so kind and helpful! They want to make sure that you feel at home, and they will help you with anything that you need! They help you with the tours around Cairo and Giza, and they tell you all of the best places to go! The location is directly in the center of Cairo, and you really do see the Nile River. The Egyption Museum is literally only a 5 minute walk from the Hotel! When it was time for me to leave I didn't want to go! Jamila, from USA ~ 1st Dec 2008
