Get there and see the everydays life of the Cairo, meet the hospitable people around, warmness and helpfullness from the stff. Step up on the roof and enjoy the unforgettable view arround you. Get in love with the city. You are in its heart. Thank you all for such an experience. Jara from Switzeland and Jana from Czech both much over the age 41 Jaroslava, from Switzerland ~ 8th Oct 2009

Very friendly and helpful staff! I appreciated the location away from downtown but still only about a five minute taxi ride away. This is not a very touristic area, and that's what I liked about it! Jennifer, from USA ~ 26th Sep 2009

Very good place to stay if you want to stay in the real non-touristiic cairo. Be ready to be waken up by the muezzin but it's part of the game ! The district is realy amazing. The hotel is in a quiet street. Staff really nice and funny and always here to help. Room comfortable and clean. I truely recommend this place Alexandre, from France ~ 12th Aug 2009

Quite close to Khan al Kalili market. But a very dirty area of Cairo. But the staff were very friendly and helpful. Zachariah, from South Africa ~ 31st Aug 2009

This was my second stay at the Arabian Nights Hotel and I can't wait to go back! The staff are wonderful and helpful at every turn. The location is also great, close to many places of interest, yet far from the noisy tourist areas many other hotels are in. They organised a fabulous tour for us to Giza which was very reasonably priced. Choose the Arabian Nights Hotel if you truly want to feel at home in Cairo. Jessica, from Australia ~ 8th Jul 2009

Great location IF you want to be on the far side of the Souk. It's a nice change from downtown. Excellent day staff. Magdy is a gem. Super clean and nice. Rooftop breakfast. A long walk from downtown, but you won't want to go that direction if you spend 4 days in the area seeing all of Islamic Cairo. A cab is 20 LE from downtown. Shared baths are nice and lots of them. An A+ in my book! Owen, from USA ~ 21st Jun 2009

Exactly as represented on the site. Great value and the staff is awesome. It's a hybrid hotel/hostel so if you expect a 2-star hotel, you will be happy. Good social areas to meet other guests and surprisingly quiet since most rooms seem to open to the inside of the building rather than outside. We were never awakened from the call to prayer . This was a phenomenal experience!!! The staff was incredible and VERY helpful. They answered all our questions, helped us with directions, and even recommended some excellent music. They not only helped us with everything room-wise (even changing our room to give us a room with a shower when the shower in the hall didn't have hot water) but they hung out with us on the roof and talked for hours about Egypt and their experiences. It is truly an amazing hotel AND it's in a great location that Jenny, from USA ~ 8th Apr 2009
