Archi Rossi was an impressive hostel situated about easy 10-15min from the center of Florence, 25min to Santa Croce, only 5min from the main train station. Very convenient location, full of nice decoration (painting, sculpture, ...), clean, good staff, free or incl. stuffs like city tour, internet and breakfast. I just regret they are not proposing some 'nights out' but it did not disturb me! Recommended! Christophe, from Belgium ~ 16th Nov 2011

A good hostel with decorated walls and green courtyards. The free breakfast is good cafeteria-style hot food, and even when they aren't running the free dinner special, the food (and wine) are a good value. Good location, near the train station and in the direction of all the sites in the city. Stephen, from USA ~ 4th Nov 2011

This hostel is great. Well located, clean, big rooms with bathroom, different types of breakfast. The two only things that didn't make it perfect were that wi fi sometimes worked sometimes didn't, and that it didn't have a kitchen. But is a well resolved issue: they serve dinner at a very cheap price and you can use a microwave and have hot water as well as a refrigerator. I would surely recommend it! Hostel is located near train station. Very friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, good breakfast. Baggage storage after check-out is available for free. I failed to connect their free wi-fi spot, but computers with free internet are available in lobby. I highly recommend this hostel, and would stay here again next time. Thanks for excellent service! This hostel pretty much has it down to a science. Affordable, safe, clean, good location, interesting character, and great extras. The free breakfast in the morning makes it easy to have a good rest of the day wandering the city. It is a hostel, though, so it comes with all the pros and cons of sharing a bedroom and restroom with many strangers. Andrew, from USA ~ 17th Sep 2011

This was a very nice hostel with a good breakfast. But there were not enough bathrooms. Also, if you are trying to meet people this is not the place to go. They have a 2am curfew and is full of couples and old people. Rachel, from Canada ~ 16th Sep 2011

Probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Very good breakfast, very spacious in general, lots of light, nice staff, only a few minutes walk from every important spot in Florence. Adela, from Argentina ~ 29th Aug 2011

The location near the train/bus stations are perfect when arriving in town. The staff were helpful and nice. The free internet is a major plus, as well as the daily free walking tours of the city. Also, free breakfast.Non-breakfast meals range from 3 to 5 euro each, which is a steal if you're on a budget.Cheap (but good) wine, beer and other snacks are available. It is a great base for exploring Florence, a city that demands a few days of your time. A nice one to stay in and very close to the Florence SMN station. Additional advantage is the availability of dinner in the hostel itself. Amlan Kusum, from India ~ 19th Aug 2011
